#9 Christine Miller
Christine, please collect your winner's blog badges from our sidebar... and email me (Pauline) at the yahoo address on the right, and I'll get your prize off to you! Thank you for sponsoring our first challenge, Doodle Garden! Now I can welcome you to our second challenge for 2013! Our sponsor this week is Beccy's Place. We're thrilled to have her beautiful hand drawn images grace our pages ... they are created by Beccy Muir...
Paint, paper, silk, charcoal, clay, wool, fabric, fur… I’ve had my hands on all of it at some point in my life and am quite certain I’ll have a half-finished project on my desk and ink under my nails on the day I go to meet my Maker!
My paper obsession began with scrapbooking in the late 1990s and has since evolved into card-making and digital drawing. There were a few years of decorative painting, teddy bear making and silk ribbon embroidery mixed in there too, and I still dabble in each of those crafts from time to time, but I generally gravitate toward paper, which is versatile and forgiving.
I started “doodling” little designs for cards back in 2009, which is also when I started my blog and began sharing my images with other Cardies. From there I progressed to my very own online store selling digital drawings for cards and other paper craft projects.
Beccy's Place is offering our randomly drawn prize winner their choice of three images from the Beccy's Place collection!
This week, we have a
SKETCH CHALLENGE
... please use this simple sketch as a map for your card creation.
Feel free to stretch it, flip it, as you see fit, as long as your end creation layout resembles this original basic sketch... (the text used is only to identify the sketch!) And of course you're free to use an embellishments you wish! Have fun!
As this is a sketch challenge, the theme for your card is completely open... the scripture below is a share for you.
"The one thing I ask of the Lord -- the thing I seek most
is to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life,
delighting in the Lord's perfections and meditating in His temple."
is to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life,
delighting in the Lord's perfections and meditating in His temple."
Psalm 27:4 NLV
And remember to use a scripture, or uplifting quote/sentiment in your creation.... that is our Twist if Faith, after all!
We look forward to seeing your creations using our SKETCH shared with us here. Have a blessed week!
Please remember that if for any reason our Linky Tool fails us, share your creation through the comments section, with a direct link to your blog post.

ReplyDeleteThanks for the challenge. I really have not figured out this link - once again, my card has an inch or so missing at the top. I do not know how to fix it! It does have twine and a bow at the top, and can be seen on my blog. My apologies.
