Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another - and all the more as you see the Day approaching. (Hebrews 10:25 NIV)

Challenge # 68 - Navity

The Members of the Twist Of Faith Team would like to wish everyone a very Blessed CHRISTmas Season.  May it be filled with the Love of God, Family, and Friends...not only at Christmas, but in the coming year.

Welcome to a new challenge here at Twist of Faith!  We love to make cards and our "twist" is that always add a scripture, positive quote/verse, or uplifting quote.  We want to not only share our joy of making cards, but also encourage the recipient of those cards.  You never know whose life you can touch with a card.

Let's first see what gorgeous creations were created for last weeks challenge!  Our challenge last week was "Traditional Christmas".  All of our entries were beautiful and represented what "traditional" means to us as individuals. I think we all enjoy remembering and carrying on our traditions of Christmas. They become a personal legacy.  The cards made and posted were like beautiful ornaments!  Thank you to our sponsor last week, Robyn's Fetish, for providing not only wonderful images to work with and amazing guest designers...but a fantastic prize for our winner as well!  Our Top 3 from last week (in no particular order) and our random winner:

Entry #19 - Jessie L

Entry#10 - Valerie W
Christmas House digi stamp from Handmade Harbour - Val By Design
Entry #6 - Karen

And our random winner this week it is :
Entry #3 - Sue
Congratulations  Sue!  Please contact Zella at russnzella@yahoo.com so that she can make arrangements for your prize to be delivered.

And now on to this weeks new challenge:
Nativity
In the Book of Matthew & Luke we are told the story of the Nativity - the birth of the Savior. Many know & love this story, as they love the one who it is about: Jesus. It is an amazing story of love - of the love of God and His gift to mankind - Himself.
During the Chistmas season we often reach out to friends and family with this message of Hope and Love come in a manger.  We'd love you to share your beautiful cards made with the Nativity theme.  And don't forget that your card must include a scripture, uplifting quote/sentiment, or positive verse in order to be considered for our random prize.

Our sponsor for the week is Melonheadz, who has generously offered the Winner of this weeks challenge 1 image bundle of the winners choice!

Here's a little bit about the owner of Melonheadz - Nikki:

Button
Once upon a time, I had 1 big noisy child, and 2 small noisy children, (still noisy, just bigger...lol) and I was in desperate need for quiet book patterns. I couldn't find any that I LOVED, so... I drew my own! Not too successful, as they were way too complicated, but I had HUGE feedback on my art work.  So, my happy ending began with a blog :) I started out posting free images daily, and within a week, I had over 100 followers! I was thrilled! Slowly as my art work has improved, so have my opportunities! Etsy is just another step in achieving my dream. I have become a successful illustrator! I am so blessed to have had many willing to help me on my path, and am grateful for every single person who has visited my shop, blog, and offered requests and suggestions along the way.I LOVE this "job"!

Before we share what our design Team created this week, we want to share a passage from the Bible with you:

Isaiah 9:6
For Unto us a Child is Born, Unto us a Son is Given: and the Government Shall be Upon His Shoulder: and His Name Shall be Called Wonderful, Counselor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Feel free to copy and paste this verse!

Our design team has been busy this week.  Take a look and see what they created using some Melonheadz - Digital Stamp images :

Vickie 2012 Nativity

We hope that the Design Team projects have inspired you this week and you go by and visit their blogs and give them a little love by leaving a comment.  Now it's time to join in the fun!  And of course don't forget a verse, scripture, or quote.  We look forward to seeing what you create!!!

Should our Linky tool fail, please share your creation in the comments section with a direct link to your blog.

Challenge #66...BAUBLES & BELLS

Welcome to Twist of Faith, where we share card creations with scripture, or uplifting verse and quotes! We feel so blessed that you've taken the time to stop by for a visit here today.  We have a new challenge starting today, as we do every Tuesday.  But, before we share the details of our new challenge, first let us congratulate our Top 3 and our Random Winner from our last challenge..."Three Color Combo".  As always, the submissions were amazing and we would like to thank everyone who shared their creativity!

Here are the Top 3 (in no particular order)...
#2 - Cindy

#9 - Marsha

And #5 - DebR...who is also our random prize winner

Congratulations Deb! Please email Zella at russnzella@yahoo.com, and she will arrange for your prize from our sponsor last week, Stamp Art Designs by Kathryne!

Now onto our new challenge!
Since Christmas is fast approaching, we thought it would be fun to do a little Christmas challenge...

This week's #63 challenge theme is:

Baubles & Bells

Now, before we take a look at the awesome inspiration the Design Team has come up with for you this week, we would like to share a scripture verse with you!

"She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins"
Matthew 1:21

We are excited to once again be sponsored by Digi Darla Designs...
who have generously offered one lucky winner 5 digis of their choice!  How awesome is that?
Here's some information about this weeks sponsor...

"Emilea and I both enjoy creating and when the idea of creating digital stamps came up, it sounded like the most wonderful way to earn ever! There was only one problem! We are both shy and dislike the center of attention! As a way of "hiding behind the scenes" and avoiding having one spokeswoman, Digi Darla was born!  Working with Emilea on this project has been a wonderful blessing and has stretched both of us. Emilea is a busy teen with her passion for art and training our 2 horses, piano and violin lessons, and squeezing in high school classes somewhere in between! She is also the oldest daughter in a family of 11!"

Before we take a look at what the design team has created, we have one last reminder...
Your creation should also include a scripture, uplifting verse or positive words/quote that will suit your creation and our theme!

Before we show you the Design Team creations, we want to take a moment and welcome our newest Design Team member.  Welcome SARAH!  We're so excited to have you on board as part of the team!!!

Here's your inspiration for this week...

Barb using Cat Christmas

Princess using Christmas Bells & Garland

Sarah using Christmas Bell

Tracey using "Christmas Bells and Garland"

Vickie using Christmas Bell

Zella using "Christmas Bells" and "Because You Mean So Much"

Doesn't that just feel like Christmas is around the corner?  Makes me want to break out in song singing "C'mon Ring Those Bells...Light the Christmas Tree...Jesus is the King.. Born for You and Me".  After all, isn't that the real reason for the season?  The lights, the baubles, the bells are all beautiful...but don't let them take over your Christmas this year!  Remember to set aside time to focus on the real reason of this joyous time...a Savior came down to earth...He is a gift to all of us!  If you have not received this precious gift, and do not have the Lord in your life please know that this gift is available today!  He is waiting for you with open arms and wants to have a relationship with you!

I hope we have been able to inspire you to create one last Christmas card...or maybe you're just starting with your cards and needed ideas!  Whichever it may be, we hope you'll share your creativity with us this week!

Should our Linky Tool fail us, share your creation through the comments section, with a direct link to your blog post.  Have a blessed week!
