Introducing the whole design team here at Twist of Faith Cards!
Twist of Faith Cards is my creation of something positive and uplifting to share. I'm approaching my mid 40s, and a mad keen crafter of paper/card, beads and fabric. I scrapbook, create cards, make jewellery, and often have needle and thread at work, sometimes a mix of the aforementioned!
I love sharing crafts with others, and I love the fellowship and friendship that crafting also creates.... whether it be at the same table, or across the globe! I have a special needs daughter with multiple disabilities, and along with with hubby and wee doggie, I live in my rural hometown, in beautiful Western Victoria, in south eastern Australia.
I have known I love arts and crafts since I was a little girl I found myself creating with paper Mache and painting ceramics. I have grown to find a world filled with all kinds of beautiful arts to play in. My favorites to play in are embroidery, making flowers from fabric, paper, cardboard and ribbon. I love to upcycle things like turning cigar boxes into pretty trinket boxes. I especially love making cards and giving them as ‘Acts of Kindness’.
Barb
Hi—I am Barb Deichl, from Waukesha, Wisconsin. I am retired from teaching since the fall of 2009 and I was also a high school Athletic Director along with teaching the last 17 years. I love to garden—both vegetables and flower—so we built a greenhouse in 2011 to enjoy our hobby even more!
I remember always stamping the front and back of the Christmas Card Envelopes with some cute image or a saying and at that time was able to keep ALL of my stamps and ink pads in a shoebox! My, how far have I come! I often visited a local stamp and scrapbook store that a friend owned in the town where I taught and my card making grew. She also introduced me to Stampin’ Up and Splitcoast Stampers in 2004—and the rest is history!
My craft room is now much larger than a shoebox and since I am retired, I am able to spend much more time creating cards! I enjoy a few hours each day checking in with my friends on SCS—mainly in the swap threads. I do join quite a few swaps and usually have 4-5 due each month. I also love to host swaps and typically have 3 going at one time—and one is always some themed Whipper Snapper and Penny Black Swap—I love those two companies! Stampin’ Up will always be my first love of stamp companies and I am one of Sarah’s best customers! I have also started to really enjoy digital stamps for the ease of storage! I love using my Copic Markers, as well as my Big Shot. I am able to utilize stash of ribbons and brads as usually every card has those embellishments on them! I was chosen to be on my first design team last winter and I am excited and honored to be a part of the Twist of Faith Team.

Sarah
Hi, I'm Sarah George Christopher. I'm a stay at home mom. I love to make handmade things. My interest for crafts made me explore the blogging world. I've also found my interest for paper crafting recently and making Scripture cards are my favorite. My huge thanks to the TOF team of awesome ladies for giving me this opportunity. I hope my creations will inspire you.Tracey
Hi! I'm Tracey! I live on a small acreage in the province of Manitoba, Canada with my husband, our two wonderful children, our Norwegian Elkhound, and several cats! I am a stay at home mom who is kept busy with cooking, cleaning and chauffeuring our kids! At this stage in life, this is my mission field! I also currently volunteer as the children's midweek program coordinator in our church! I have been card making and scrapbooking on and off for about 15 years as time allows! I am so blessed to be able to work with Twist of Faith and their team of talented designers! I look forward to spreading the word of God's goodness and grace through crafting! My hope is that when you visit Twist of Faith you will leave encouraged and refreshed in your walk with God!
I live on a farm just north of Kansas City, Missouri, with my husband Bill, a chemist and great photographer. We have four grown kids and 8 grand kids, mostly boys. I was in the ministry for 11 years as a pastor's wife and Christian school teacher. I was a teacher for a total of 30 years, from preschool to eighth grade, but mostly 1st and 2nd. 15 of those years I was a reading teacher. I retired a few years ago and knew I'd really miss teaching.
I became a Close To My Heart consultant and have classes and clubs. I also became a design team member for our local scrapbook store and taught their card and stamping classes for three years until they closed. The aging body is limiting some of the more active things I used to do, but I've replaced those things with creating cards, encouraging friends, and sharing my faith on my blog.
Greetings from Northeast Ohio! My husband and I have lived here for 13 years. I grew up in this area, but he moved here for me. We have 2 sons, 1 daughter, 2 daughter-in-laws, 4 granddaughters, 2 inside cats who think they are people, and 6 outside cats that are strays but we feed them. I've been stamping for 8-10 yeas on and off but over the last year have been more active with it. I make cards for our local pregnancy center and for other ministry outlets. Crocheting is my other craft, although I've done a little bit of everything at one time or another it seems. I have made candles, cross-stitched, needlepointed, plastic canvas, etc. I'm honored to be part of the Twist of Faith Design Team and looking forward to seeing all the beautiful creations that are submitted! Blessings!!!!
Congratulations to all of the wonderful DT members of this blog - God Bless you today and always ~ Gail ~
